Aladdin; or, The Wonderful Lamp. Illustrated by Felix O. C. Darley.
A visual study exploring distortion through found glass objects. Inspired by the idea of Aladdin's cave, antique glass marbles became tools for reimagining familiar spaces, revealing how small shifts in perception can transform the ordinary.
A visual reflection on the cyclical nature of the female body. Inspired by magical realist imagery and contemporary visual narratives surrounding femininity and motherhood. The work combines acrylic paint and yarn as a way of exploring and understanding my own body through themes of creation, transformation, and loss.
A photographic study exploring the body through layering and movement. By combining multiple images, the work investigates gesture, presence, and the body's relationship with space.
A visual diary of discarded materials. Through observation and collection, the project maps traces of everyday life, exploring how waste can reveal hidden stories about the places we inhabit. I like to call it Trashiary.
An observational study exploring intervention, vulnerability, and chance encounters. By approaching strangers to photograph their shoes, this experiment challenged my own comfort zone while reflecting on trust, curiosity, and the unexpected connections that can emerge through experiments.
A series of photographic and video self-portraits. By placing myself in front of the camera, I stepped into the role of the subject instead of the photographer. I wanted to understand what it feels like to be on the other side of the lens. Do we feel observed? Exposed? Present? This experiment became a way of exploring those questions through my own experience.
Exploring distortion through rainfall. I often create video sketches as a way of observing, experimenting, and documenting fleeting moments. They allow me to explore ideas freely and often become the starting point for new work.
